Erik trained as an interior architect at ArtEZ (formerly Constatijn Huygens College of the Arts) from 1999-2003. After completing his studies, he worked at an architectural firm for 3 years before joining Wijnand Keukens. Erik has always had a passion for architecture. He has a good understanding of spaces and looks for surprising solutions. He finds the combination of design and technology particularly interesting. According to Erik, creating a kitchen design goes beyond just the kitchen space. He enjoys giving people more insight into space through his designs. The variation between working with great brands, customer contact and designing appeals to him a lot in his work. The fact that he works in the most beautiful kitchen showroom in the north of the Netherlands is a nice added bonus!
