Correct in every detail
For 20 years, the residents have enjoyed living in their authentic Amsterdam corner house when the kitchen in the basement needed replacing. 'An acquaintance advised us to go to bulthaup Zwolle. It's not the most logical choice if you live in Amsterdam, but we haven't regretted it for a moment.
We were helped by Jeroen and immediately noticed that they listened carefully and worked out some good proposals based on that. You wouldn't expect this from an average kitchen shop. What is also really different: when the preliminary design was ready, he came to see us on site to make everything fit in every detail.
We liked the whole thing so much that we also chose bulthaup Zwolle for the kitchen in our second house'.
What are the features
Below is a brief list of the materials used and details.
Materials
The fronts of the hanging base units are made of wood veneer, programme EIVS, in the colour 84 black grey dull. The tall units are fitted with plastic doors in colour Q9 flint, programme DFK2.
Cooker
Miele's hob consists of three units, one of which is a Teppan Yaki, and features two worktop extractor units.
Built-in appliances
Almost all built-in appliances are by Miele. Only the fridges are by Liebherr and the tap with accompanying boiler is by Quooker.
Worksheet
The worktop, by ABK, is made of hot-rolled stainless steel and is 4mm thick. Both worktops are fitted with welded-in sinks.
What's special about this kitchen
On both the left and right walls, suspended kitchen elements have been applied, enhancing the feeling of space. On both walls, a sink has been integrated into the worktop and a Quooker has been applied. In this space, the dining table has become the centrepiece of the kitchen.
Atmosphere impression of the kitchen
'The kitchen is where we sit most often. Very nice, but no showroom and that's a very good combination'.
